The Adaptor Double PlugMinder Cover is specifically designed for double sockets fitted with double or triple adaptor plugs, where multiple appliances are connected to a single wall socket.

With a generous internal clearance of 210 mm wide × 150 mm high × 110 mm deep, this is the largest standard PlugMinder in the range. It provides ample space for bulky plug adaptors, multiple plug arrangements and their associated cables while keeping everything securely enclosed.

Once fitted, the adaptor, plugs and cables remain enclosed behind the lockable cover, helping prevent them from being unplugged, removed or tampered with.

Why is this PlugMinder called Adaptor?

This model is called Adaptor because it has been designed specifically to accommodate double and triple plug adaptors fitted to a standard UK double socket.

Unlike a conventional plug arrangement, adaptor plugs can increase both the size and number of plugs connected to a socket, requiring significantly more space than a standard PlugMinder can provide.

The Adaptor Double PlugMinder provides:

• A large internal clearance of 210 mm wide × 150 mm high × 110 mm deep

• Up to 25 mm of additional clearance above the socket

• Up to 35 mm of additional clearance below the socket

• Up to 25 mm of additional clearance on each side of the socket

• Space for multiple plugs connected through a double or triple adaptor

Flexible cable exits

The Adaptor Double PlugMinder includes a large removable cable insert at the bottom of the cover.

The insert incorporates two cable slots, allowing multiple cables to exit neatly from the bottom while helping keep the cover tidy. If additional clearance is required, the insert can simply be removed to create a much larger cable exit opening.

In addition to the bottom cable exit, the cover also includes two cable exit holes at the top, each suitable for cables up to 10 mm in diameter.

Cable inserts are supplied for the top cable exits, allowing unused openings to be neatly closed.

Built-in mobile device charging cable protection

All PlugMinder models include integrated cable-retaining hooks on the baseplate. These help hold a mobile device charging cable, such as a phone or tablet cable, in place once the cover is fitted, reducing the chance of the cable being removed or taken away.

The cable is held between the baseplate and the outer cover, so once PlugMinder is installed, the charger and cable are kept in place and ready for use.
